2024, Singapore

I did a rebranding for Global Design Initiative (GDI 2.0), a global platform founded by five internationally oriented art and design institutions based in London, Cologne, Singapore, Taipei, and Tokyo.

The new identity reinterprets the asterisk as a core visual system representing connectivity, collaboration, and networking. Expanded into modular, interconnected forms, it visualizes GDI as a continuously evolving global network. The system is designed with flexibility at its core, allowing the asterisk to adapt across applications while maintaining a cohesive visual language that supports annual thematic evolution.
